Baghdad: A high-level Iraqi security delegation will travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Thursday, to discuss a number of security files and issues of common interest.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation will include the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir al-Shammari; the Head of the Intelligence Service, Hamid al-Shatri; the Commander of Air Defense, Lieutenant General Muhannad al-Asadi; and the Head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Hawshi.
The delegation is set to engage with the Saudi side on various security files of mutual interest. Key topics will include the attacks that Saudi Arabia has faced, the issue of drones, and ways to enhance security coordination and cooperation between the two countries.
