SALAH AL-DIN: The Ministry of Interior announced today the arrest of two terrorists who carried out numerous attacks in the Salah al-Din Governorate. These arrests mark a significant achievement in the ongoing battle against ISIS in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Intelligence Agency detachments dedicated to combating terrorism in Salah al-Din conducted a specialized operation based on precise intelligence. This led to the capture of two individuals linked to the ISIS terrorist organization. During the interrogation, the detainees confessed to their involvement with ISIS, specifically operating under the Diwan al-Jund, Al-Qadisiyah Division. They admitted to executing multiple attacks against security forces within the governorate.

The ministry also confirmed that the confessions of these terrorists were recorded and judicially verified, ensuring that the legal process will be upheld in their prosecution. This operation highlights the continued efforts of Iraqi security forces to destabil
ize and dismantle terrorist networks that threaten the peace and security of Iraq.
