Cairo: Iraqi artist Aseel Hameem is preparing to release her latest single, “Ashan Al-Ashra” (For the Sake of Ten), signaling a return to the Gulf dialect that first brought her significant recognition. This move follows her successful venture into Egyptian music, marking a pivotal moment in her career.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Aseel’s media center has disclosed details regarding the highly anticipated release, although much of the project’s specifics remain undisclosed. The singer recently heightened fans’ excitement by sharing a brief video from the recording studio, where she was seen engaging with the melodies. Without revealing much, she teased the release with the simple promise of “soon.”

The upcoming song is a collaborative effort, featuring lyrics by Shamlan Al-Khadari, music by Ali Hameem, and arrangement by Ali Bahrami. The mixing and mastering are overseen by Jassim Mohammed. This project is seen as Aseel’s confident return to her musical roots that originally established her popularity in the Arabian Gulf, after successfully exploring different musical styles.
