Madrid:The Iraqi-Spanish Economic Business Council convened its sessions today in Madrid. The event witnessed the participation of Ali Shamran Hashim Al-Bay, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Spain, alongside a high-level Iraqi delegation and representatives from leading Spanish companies and commercial and investment institutions.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the forum was hosted by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. It aims to enhance prospects for economic cooperation between Iraq and Spain, open broader avenues for partnership in trade and investment sectors, and explore opportunities for joint collaboration between businesspeople and economic institutions from both countries.

The forum is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic and commercial relations between Iraq and Spain. It seeks to encourage mutual investments and establish partnerships that contribute to achieving shared interests between the two nations.
