Alexandria:Iraqi Transport Minister Wahab Al-Hassani has called for the enhancement of cross-border transport networks to promote Arab economic integration. His remarks were made during a speech at the 39th session of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Hassani emphasized the importance of developing cross-border transport networks and removing obstacles that hinder economic integration among Arab countries. He highlighted the readiness of the State Company for Land Transport to provide technical assistance to Palestinian counterparts in freight transportation, reinforcing Iraq’s support for the Palestinian cause.

Al-Hassani also urged Arab ministers and companies to participate in the Iraq International Exhibition for Transport, Airports and Logistics Services, which is set to take place in Baghdad from November 25 to 27, 2026.
