Iraqi Turkmen Front Leader Hosts Ankara Educational Delegation


Kirkuk: The Head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Muhammad Semaan Agha, welcomed a high-level educational delegation from Ankara, Turkey. The delegation’s visit aimed to discuss the enhancement and strengthening of the education sector for Iraqi Turkmen, covering all levels from schools to universities across Turkmen regions.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation was led by Talib Gilan, Head of the General Union of Turkish Teachers and the Federation of Education Unions in Turkey. He was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Yildiz, Vice President of Ankara Yildirim Bayazit University, and Mumin Sen, Secretary-General of the same university, along with several other academic members.



During the meeting, both parties explored opportunities to enhance academic and educational collaboration with Turkish universities to advance the education of Turkmen students in Iraq. The visiting delegation pledged full support for the Turkmen educational process and expressed readiness to provide necessary academic and educational aid soon.



Muhammad Semaan Agha expressed gratitude to the delegation for their visit and their interest in the Turkmen education file, highlighting that an educated Turkmen populace is crucial to the nation’s strength and future development.
