Tel aviv: Israel is reportedly preparing a list of Palestinian prisoners and maps for a potential withdrawal from Gaza, aligning with the Trump plan. Israeli Channel 12 revealed that these efforts are part of the preparations to accelerate negotiations with Hamas, with Israeli security officials actively working on the list of Palestinian prisoners set to be released.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a joint team comprising the General Security Service (Shin Bet), the Israeli army, and the Mossad is currently drafting a list of Palestinian prisoners considered for release once hostages are freed. This move is part of a broader strategy to engage in negotiations under the looming threat of bombardment, a political challenge highlighted by the need to navigate the reactions of Ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich to the decision to halt the occupation of the Gaza Strip.

The Trump initiative, which serves as a foundation for these negotiations, originally included the release of 250 life-sentenced prisoners, though only a few dozen are expected to remain incarcerated. Concurrently, specialized teams are working on drafting precise withdrawal maps based on the Trump plan, which are to be presented during the discussions.

Reports from Hebrew media earlier indicated that active fighting in Gaza had ceased on orders from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, signaling a shift in the ongoing conflict dynamics.
