Tel aviv: The Israeli army declared on Sunday evening that its “36th Division” has commenced its entry into Gaza City, marking a significant development in Operation “Gideon Armor 2.” This action comes two weeks after the military heightened its readiness for a new phase of combat operations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the army’s statement highlighted that the division’s forces have been actively targeting multiple sites within the Gaza Strip over recent days. This strategic move aims to isolate the combat zone, facilitating the division’s entry into the field.
The Israeli army emphasized that the Southern Command forces remain committed to their mission of safeguarding Israel. In support of this operation, the army spokesperson released a series of photos and video clips, purportedly showing the “36th Division” actively engaged within the Gaza Strip.
