Gaza: The Israeli army announced that its forces stationed inside Gaza are preparing to implement the ceasefire agreement, which is expected to go into effect tomorrow, Sunday. During this ceasefire period, the Israeli army will begin a gradual withdrawal from specific sites and roads within the Gaza Strip. However, they stated that Palestinian residents will not be allowed to return to areas where Israeli forces are stationed or near the border with Israel.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, after 467 days of ongoing war, Hamas and Israel have reached an agreement to cease fire in the Gaza Strip and to exchange prisoners and hostages. Under the terms of the agreement, 33 Israeli detainees will be released over the next six weeks in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons.

The ceasefire agreement specifies that in the first stage, Israeli forces should withdraw from the Netzarim Corridor, while the remaining forces should gradually exit the Strip, leaving a presence in an 800-meter-wide belt within Gaza. Additionally, Israeli forces will maintain a presence in the Philadelphi Corridor within a 100-meter-wide border strip. The agreement outlines a second stage, which is slated to begin with a complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
