Baghdad: New incursions by Israeli forces into southern Syria have been reported, marking the second such incident in 24 hours. An Israeli patrol consisting of six military vehicles entered the town of Taranga in the northern Quneitra countryside, conducting raids and searches in two houses.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, another patrol, made up of three vehicles, established a checkpoint in the town of Al-Ajraf in the central countryside. This operation involved searching passersby and vehicles, though no arrests have been reported.

In Daraa, an Israeli force comprising three vehicles entered Wadi al-Raqad in the western countryside on Sunday afternoon. This operation coincided with low-altitude flights by Israeli helicopters over the province, particularly affecting the city of Tafas and surrounding areas.

This activity follows a previous incursion near the town of Jabata al-Khashab in the northern Quneitra countryside. An Israeli force set up a temporary checkpoint in the quarry area during that operation, conducting searches of workers and checking their identification before withdrawing.
