Beirut: Israeli artillery shelling and bombing operations continued throughout the night in southern Lebanon, causing widespread destruction and heightening tensions in the region. Reports indicated that Israeli forces persistently targeted homes and land, with explosions resonating through the towns of Tallousa, Haddatha, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and Qounin al-Janoubiya until the early hours of dawn.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the National News Agency highlighted the escalating situation in several southern villages and towns, particularly those in the Yellow Zone and nearby areas like Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, Beit al-Sayyad, Haddatha, Haris, and al-Tayri. These areas experienced intense explosions after midnight, causing a state of tension among residents as the echoes were heard throughout the southern region.
Further reports detailed that the Israeli army employed heavy machine guns and conducted armored patrols along the roads in the Saf al-Hawa area, extending its operations to Bint Jbeil in the south.
