Tel Aviv: Hebrew media has reported that a soldier was killed and others injured in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a drone reportedly dropped a bomb on an army force in the area, causing several injuries, some of which are serious. The incident has led to direct armed clashes between army forces and Hamas members in Shujaiya.

Social media platforms have been sharing images of an evacuation helicopter from Gaza, which transported soldiers to Ichilov Hospital after the incident. Yedioth Ahronoth mentioned that the security situation is still unfolding, with a strict media blackout enforced by Israeli military censorship. Israeli helicopters are actively flying over the area as efforts continue to evacuate the injured and facilitate the withdrawal of forces.

Additionally, photos showing the transfer of the deceased and injured to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba have been circulating.
