Baghdad: The Second Karkh Investigation Court recovered 4 billion dinars on Sunday in connection with a financial fraud case.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council explained in a statement that the money was recovered from three companies that violated the law by fraudulently obtaining the difference in the dollar exchange rate through money transfers outside the country.

It is worth noting that the Second Karkh Investigation Court, through significant efforts and under the supervision of the court’s chief judge, recovered this amount. These efforts are ongoing to take legal action against the remaining companies that employ illegal methods to obtain large profits at the expense of public funds.
