BAGHDAD: The Ministry of Justice has taken significant measures to enhance transparency within the judicial system by forming specialized committees tasked with auditing and monitoring financial transactions in judicial department accounts. Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, directed this initiative, aiming to reduce potential violations and ensure adherence to legal financial practices. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry's statement emphasized the importance of continuous oversight by general managers within relevant judicial departments. This oversight is crucial to achieving transparency and preventing violations. The newly formed committees will focus on monitoring financial balances and ensuring that all financial activities comply with established legal and financial guidelines. The departments included in this oversight are the Real Estate Registration Department, the Implementation Service, the Notary Public Department, and the Minors' Care Department. The ministry's move is par t of an ongoing campaign to combat corruption and safeguard public funds. The statement underlined that these measures are integral to the broader efforts aimed at enhancing financial control and accountability within judicial institutions, thereby preventing any potential misuse that might adversely affect the public interest.
