Karbala Governor and Prime Minister’s Office Head Discuss Support for Arbaeen Pilgrimage Plans

Diwaniyah: Governor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi and the head of the Prime Minister's Office, Ihsan Al-Awadi, engaged in discussions to support the organizational plans for the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and future projects.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Karbala Governor's media office indicated that Al-Khattabi hosted Al-Awadi to review the progress of implementing the organizational plans for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. Their discussions focused on ensuring the smooth implementation of these plans on the ground, which would guarantee the continued provision of services to millions of pilgrims.

The statement further mentioned that both parties explored several future projects aimed at strengthening infrastructure. These projects are intended to aid the Karbala Governorate in managing mass pilgrimage visits, keeping pace with the rising number of pilgrims and enhancing the services offered.
