Karbala Hosts Strategic Meeting for Arbaeen Pilgrimage Coordination

Karbala: A meeting was held in the holy city of Karbala for the heads of the higher security and service committees and the transportation committee for the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him). The meeting was attended by the governor of Diwaniyah, the deputy governors of Najaf, Babylon, and Baghdad, as well as security leaders and officials from federal ministries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting discussed the transportation plan and mechanisms for joint coordination between the higher committees, the governorates, and security and service agencies. This coordination aims to unify efforts and integrate roles to ensure the success of the Arba'een pilgrimage plan and provide the best possible services to millions of pilgrims, as well as guaranteeing the smooth flow of pilgrims and vehicles on all routes.

The attendees emphasized the importance of continued coordination and integration among all relevant parties, in accordance with the directives of Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zubaidi. These directives aim to make this year's Arba'een pilgrimage exceptional in terms of both service provision and organization, commensurate with the millions of pilgrims and reflecting a high level of preparedness in managing this major event.
