Karbala: The Karbala Police Command has registered 15,817 Husseini processions as of the 10th of Safar, marking a significant participation in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein. These processions are aimed at providing various services to the influx of pilgrims arriving for the commemoration. The registration process concluded after all necessary procedures for participating processions were completed.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Pilgrims and Visitors Division of the Directorate of Protection of the Two Holy Shrines, in partnership with the two holy shrines and the Husseini Processions Authority, continues to ensure legal guarantees for procession organizers. This cooperation aims to facilitate smooth operations in line with existing regulations, thereby ensuring organized services for the pilgrims.

The distribution of Husseini processions spans the center of Karbala and the main routes leading to it. Among these are more than 200 Arab and foreign processions, showcasing a wide-ranging involvement in serving the pilgrims of Imam Hussein.
