Baghdad: Khaled Jassim, Moayad Al-Lami, and Jabbar Tarad continue to garner the highest number of votes in the Journalists Syndicate elections. Candidates Khaled Jassim, Moayad Al-Lami, and Jabbar Tarad continued to lead the race for the positions of President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate and his two deputies, according to preliminary results from the manual recount in the 23rd session of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate elections.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, as of 11:00 AM this morning, Saturday, Khaled Jassim received 924 votes for the position of President of the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, far ahead of his closest competitor, Mohammed Hannoun, who received 454 votes.
Moayad Al-Lami received 1100 votes for the position of Vice President, a significant lead over his closest competitor, Jabbar Tarad, who received 845 votes.
