Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Service Reports Drone Attack on Key Government Offices


Erbil: The Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Service announced on Monday that two drones targeted the office of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Prime Minister and the headquarters of the Security Directorate.



According to Iraqi News Agency, the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Service revealed that the attack involved two Hadid-110 drones. These drones specifically targeted the private office of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Prime Minister and the residence of the Security Directorate. The attack took place in the Pirmam area, which is located 30 kilometers north of Erbil and was formerly known as Salahaddin Resort.



The drones are reported to have been launched from the direction of Iran, though no casualties were reported as a result of the attack. The Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Service strongly condemned the attacks and violations. The Service labeled the incidents as unacceptable and declared that the perpetrators would be held fully responsible for the consequences of their actions.
