Baghdad: Kuwait reopened the Abdali border crossing with Iraq on Sunday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, an official source stated that “Kuwait has reopened the Abdali border crossing with Iraq.”

Earlier, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Saud Al-Sabah, announced that the Abdali border crossing would be reopened to passenger and commercial traffic within 48 hours. The decision to close the crossing came after it had previously been targeted in a drone attack that caused material damage to the facility.
