Kuwait City: Gulf media reported today, Monday, that the Kuwaiti authorities have detained writer and media figure Fajr Al-Saeed, in preparation for presenting her to the Public Prosecution in the case of insulting Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kuwaiti writer stated in a blog post on the “X” platform last month that the Iraqi government filed a lawsuit against her, based on a complaint from Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, due to her opinions and criticisms directed at him.
She further added that she is set to appear before the Kuwaiti Public Prosecution with a complaint by Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, submitted by the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, due to her opinions and criticisms.
