Kuwait city: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced today that the power and water desalination plant was subjected to a new Iranian attack, resulting in a fire in some of its facilities and a limited impact on a number of electricity generating units.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a ministry statement indicated that the fire necessitated activating emergency plans and taking immediate measures to protect the distribution network and stabilize the system. Firefighting and technical teams are coordinating with security authorities to assess the damage and return the affected units to service as quickly as possible and with the highest safety standards.
