Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today that 16 individuals have been killed and 40 others injured following Israeli airstrikes on the towns of Tayr Dibba and Jouya in southern Lebanon.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Health Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health provided the final toll from the airstrikes. In Tayr Dibba, nine people were reported dead, with the search still ongoing for the body of the ninth victim, and 17 others were injured. In Jouya, the strikes resulted in seven fatalities and 23 people wounded.
The airstrikes have intensified concerns over the escalating conflict in the region, as residents of the affected areas continue to grapple with the aftermath. Emergency services and medical teams are on the ground, working to provide aid and support to the victims and their families.
