Baghdad: A man was shot dead inside a residential home in Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate. The incident unfolded when the man was inside the house with a woman, leading to a fatal confrontation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source reported that the shooting was carried out by relatives of the homeowner's husband. The relatives suspected the man of having a relationship with the woman. Following the incident, security forces quickly arrived at the scene and transported the body to the forensic medicine department.
