Baghdad: The graduate studies hall in the Department of Musical Arts at the College of Fine Arts, University of Baghdad, witnessed the discussion of a master's thesis entitled "Melodic and Rhythmic Characteristics in the Songs of the Artist Redha Ali," by researcher Sari Raad Abdul-Hadi.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the study aimed to highlight one of the most important artistic milestones in the history of contemporary Iraqi song, focusing on the melodic and rhythmic structures that distinguished the work of the late artist Redha Ali. These structures are regarded as a fundamental pillar of Baghdadi and Iraqi musical identity, contributing to the academic music library with contemporary analytical studies.

The session included extensive scholarly discussions by the examining committee, which commended the researcher's efforts in choosing the topic and his scientific analytical method. The committee congratulated the researcher and the college on this scholarly achievement, which adds to the record of distinguished musical studies in Iraq.
