Maysan: The Maysan Provincial Council has announced a suspension of official working hours across all government departments and institutions in the province on Wednesday and Thursday. This decision was made to observe the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the suspension aims to allow citizens and government employees to participate in activities commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Ali (PBUH). The council’s decision underscores the cultural and religious significance of this event within the province.
