Maysan: The governor of Maysan, Habib Thahir Al-Fartousi, has called on the Ministry of Finance and the Finance Committee of the Council of Representatives to incorporate 490 job positions from the “Bashair Al-Salam” contract addendum into the 2027 federal budget bill.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the governor confirmed that these job positions have received approval from the Prime Minister’s office and have been forwarded to the Ministry of Finance for inclusion in the upcoming federal budget bill.

Al-Fartousi emphasized the need to complete the necessary procedures to include these positions, highlighting their role in resolving the “Bashair Al-Salam” contract issue and ensuring the rights of those covered by the contracts.
