Maysan: A group of residents in Maysan province organized a protest on Wednesday in front of the governorate building, expressing their solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza, amid the ongoing aggression and worsening humanitarian crisis.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, participants raised banners affirming their support for the people of Gaza and called for strong official and popular action to back the Palestinian cause and push for an end to the suffering of civilians.

The demonstrators also urged for the immediate facilitation of humanitarian aid deliveries, particularly food and medicine, to help save the lives of thousands of besieged civilians in the Gaza Strip.
