Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate has announced the successful arrest of 10 terrorists, including two women, in various areas of the country.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, these arrests were the result of separate, well-coordinated operations that were meticulously planned based on confirmed intelligence information. The Intelligence and Security Department of the 16th Infantry Division, in collaboration with other security agencies within its jurisdiction, executed the operations through strategic ambushes. The individuals were apprehended under warrants issued in accordance with Article (1/4 of Terrorism).

The Directorate emphasized its ongoing commitment to combating terrorism and protecting citizens by continuing its efforts to identify and dismantle terrorist networks. The apprehended individuals have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, adhering to established legal procedures.
