Baghdad: Minister of Agriculture Dr. Abbas Jabr Al-Maliki engaged in discussions with Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov to advance bilateral relations in agriculture. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration and strengthen ties between the two nations in this vital sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture issued a statement highlighting the meeting’s focus on the memorandum of understanding signed by both parties. The discussion also involved setting a date for the Iraqi-Bulgarian Joint Committee meetings, which are intended to enhance cooperation and partnerships in agriculture.
