Baghdad: Minister of Agriculture Abdul Rahim Jassim Al-Shammari met with Abdul Rahim Sir Al-Khatim Abdul Rahman, the Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to Iraq, to discuss strategies for strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector. This meeting aimed to serve the mutual interests of both Iraq and Sudan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting, the Sudanese Ambassador conveyed congratulations to the Minister of Agriculture from Sudan’s Minister of Livestock and Fisheries, Professor Ahmed Al-Tijani Al-Mansouri. The discussion focused on various agricultural issues of mutual interest and explored mechanisms for developing cooperation and exchanging expertise and experiences in agricultural fields.

The Sudanese Ambassador emphasized his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Iraq. He highlighted the importance of expanding coordination and exchanging expertise in the agricultural sector between the two brotherly nations, indicating a positive outlook for future collaboration.
