Minister of Agriculture Lifts Agricultural Reform Restrictions, Allocates Land to Forestry Employees

Baghdad: Minister of Agriculture, Abdul Rahim Al-Shammari, announced today the lifting of agricultural reform restrictions and the allocation of land to employees of the Forestry and Desertification Control Department. This decision follows the directives of Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi, who initiated a plan to allocate one million residential plots to citizens.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister emphasized that the Ministry is actively proceeding with the necessary procedures to lift these reform restrictions for the employees. The Ministry also expressed readiness to collaborate with other ministries and relevant entities to ensure the effective utilization of unexploited or agriculturally viable lands, adhering to the existing regulations and laws.
