Baghdad: During his visit to the Planning and Follow-up Department, the Minister of Agriculture directed that efforts be mobilized to complete agricultural plans. Minister of Agriculture Abdul Rahim Al-Shammari emphasized the need for concerted efforts to advance these plans to fruition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release that the minister toured various sections and departments of the Planning and Follow-up Department. He received a detailed briefing from the department’s Director General, Yasser Hassan Saleh, along with input from heads of departments and divisions. The tour was conducted in the presence of Administrative Undersecretary Mahdi Suhr Al-Jubouri.

The minister issued directives aimed at developing agricultural plans that would bolster the agricultural sector and enhance services for farmers. During discussions, he also addressed the need to strengthen the agricultural sector’s role in government programs designed to support the national economy.
