Minister of Education Reaffirms Commitment to Uninterrupted Education


Baghdad: On World Humanitarian Day, the Minister of Education emphasized the importance of education by stating, “No circumstance should prevent the right to education.”



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education commemorated World Humanitarian Day on August 19, honoring humanitarian workers and acknowledging their sacrifices in service to humanity. Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, in a press release, stated that the right to education remains universal and is not dependent on any circumstance or stage of life. The Ministry is committed to supporting all students, particularly those facing challenges that may hinder their continued education.



He highlighted the dual role of teachers who, beyond their educational responsibilities, undertake a humanitarian mission by caring for and supporting students to ensure the continuation of their education under all circumstances. The Minister also took the opportunity to honor humanitarian workers who lost their lives while performing their duties and expressed gratitude for every sincere effort made in serving humanity and protecting its rights. The Ministry appreciates the dedication of teachers to their educational and humanitarian mission.
