Baghdad: Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadhil, arrived in Turkmenistan on Sunday to expedite the implementation of the gas supply contract to Iraq. The minister’s visit aims to ensure the timely execution of the agreement, which is crucial for Iraq’s energy sector.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister’s media office released a statement confirming the purpose of Fadhil’s visit. The statement emphasized the importance of the contract in securing a steady supply of Turkmen gas to Iraq, which is integral for meeting the country’s energy demands.
