Baghdad: Minister of Electricity Ali Saadi Wahib met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Iraq, Eldar Nadir oglu Salimov, to discuss exchanging expertise in the electricity sector. A statement from his office indicated that the meeting addressed areas of cooperation between the Ministry of Electricity and relevant authorities in Azerbaijan, and benefiting from expertise and experience in areas of mutual interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Minister emphasized the importance of embracing international experiences and expertise to develop the electricity sector. For his part, the Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate and exchange expertise in this field.
