Baghdad: The Ministry of Electricity announced that Minister Ali Saadi has requested to appear before Parliament to discuss the current state of the electricity grid and its challenges.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry explained that, in line with its commitment to transparency and keeping the public and elected representatives informed about the electricity sector, the Minister requested to appear before the Council of Representatives to present a comprehensive overview of the electricity grid, the challenges facing the Ministry, and the measures being taken to address the energy situation. He will also answer questions from members of Parliament.

The Ministry of Electricity affirmed its continued commitment to transparency and cooperation with Parliament, pledging to provide all information and data related to its work in support of parliamentary oversight and to strengthen public trust.
