Baghdad: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari visited the Cybersecurity Directorate today, focusing on the efforts made in protecting cyberspace and the modern technologies adopted to enhance information security across the ministry.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari received a briefing from Brigadier General Dr. Hassan Hadi, the Director of the Cybersecurity Directorate, on the Directorate’s key achievements. These included the Directorate’s personnel winning several “Capture the Flag” cybersecurity competitions, showcasing their high level of competence and skill.

The Minister praised the Directorate’s efforts and honored a group of distinguished individuals for their contributions and achievements in the field. He stressed that these successes are crucial steps toward achieving digital transformation goals and strengthening the country’s cybersecurity system.
