Diwaniya: Dozens of sanitation workers and employees in Diwaniya Governorate have initiated a strike, expressing their discontent with the ongoing delays in the allocation of residential lands promised to them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Safaa Aziz, who coordinated the protest, stated that the strike was triggered by the persistent postponements and stalling in the process of distributing the lands to the sanitation workers and employees. Aziz emphasized that the protest and strike would persist until their demands are addressed and an official date is announced for the distribution of the residential lands.
