Minister of Interior Leads Critical Meeting to Ensure Security for Rajabiya Visit


Baghdad: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari chaired a pivotal security meeting to discuss the comprehensive plans for securing the upcoming Rajabiya visit. This visit marks the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Al-Kadhim and is expected to draw millions of visitors from both within Iraq and internationally to the holy city of Kadhimiya.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at the headquarters of the Baghdad Operations Command and included the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, numerous security leaders, and supporting agencies. The primary focus was on preparing for the significant influx of visitors and ensuring their safety throughout the event.



Minister Al-Shammari emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts among various security and support agencies. He highlighted the need for a safe atmosphere for all attendees and called for the implementation of well-structured security plans. The minister also advocated for the development of alternative strategies, reliance on intelligence, and enhanced cooperation among all departments involved in the event’s security.
