Baghdad: The Ministry of Agriculture has officially announced the opening of registration for an innovative program designed to train unemployed veterinary graduates in key areas such as veterinary management, cattle stations, biosecurity, and the control of communicable diseases.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Director General of the Veterinary Department, Dr. Muhammad Aziz Al-Mayahi, detailed the program's objectives, emphasizing its focus on enhancing the skills of unemployed veterinary graduates working in the livestock sector. The initiative aims to bolster their understanding of biosecurity measures and the prevention of communicable diseases at cattle stations.

Dr. Al-Mayahi also outlined the application process, noting that interested candidates can submit their applications from Sunday, August 9, 2026, until Thursday, August 13, 2026. Applications will be received at the Veterinary Department headquarters, specifically at the Director General's Office within the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Unit. He encouraged all eligible individuals to register within the designated timeframe.
