Baghdad: The Ministry of Defense has announced the launch of an electronic service designed to facilitate the reporting of administrative and financial corruption within its ranks. This initiative, unveiled by the Military Public Prosecution Department in collaboration with the Information Systems Directorate, aims to streamline the process for ministry personnel to file reports and complaints.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new service is part of a broader effort to automate the submission and tracking of reports, which is expected to bolster transparency and procedural efficiency. The service is also designed to uphold the confidentiality of individuals reporting corruption, reinforcing the ministry’s commitment to anti-corruption measures.

The service was developed in coordination with the National Center for Digital Transformation at the Prime Minister’s Office and is accessible through the Ur Government Services Portal. This platform enables the receipt and verification of reports, facilitating necessary investigative and legal actions in line with current legislation and regulations. Ministry personnel are encouraged to utilize this service via the Ur Government Services Portal.
