Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has instituted a standardized official uniform for secondary schools, defining specific colors for both male and female students as part of the guidelines for the 2026-2027 academic year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry, through the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education, instructed school administrations to implement trousers in gray, navy, black, or brown, along with a white or light blue shirt for male students. Female students are to wear a vest and shirt in the same color palette.

The Ministry emphasized the necessity of strict adherence to these guidelines, highlighting the importance of precise implementation across all secondary schools.
