Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of an electronic service designed to facilitate the updating of data for private educational institutions through the Ur platform.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the new service, unveiled by the General Directorate of Public, Private, and Foreign Education, will allow private educational institutions to change their academic level, attendance status, gender, and name via the government’s Ur electronic platform. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance digital transformation and improve electronic services within the educational sector.

The Ministry further elaborated that starting from July 23, 2026, institutions will be able to submit their update requests through this platform. This move is expected to streamline processes and provide a more efficient way for educational institutions to manage and update their data.
