Ministry of Education Launches Applications for Community Innovation Project

Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of applications for the Community Innovation Project through the "Our" portal. This initiative is under the patronage of the Prime Minister and is supervised by the Prime Minister's Advisor for Education Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj. It is launched in collaboration with the International Academy for Leadership and Development, along with several ministries and national bodies.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the project represents a national initiative aimed at empowering young people to transform their innovative ideas into sustainable community projects. These projects are expected to contribute to addressing social challenges and improving the quality of life by providing practical solutions based on innovation and entrepreneurship.

The initiative is open to university and institute graduates, students, secondary school students, and owners of startups and small businesses with a social impact. The age range for participants is set between 16 to 35 years, with special priority given to people with disabilities who meet the application requirements.

The Ministry of Education has urged interested individuals to quickly fill out the application form via the official "Ur" portal link. The projects submitted will undergo evaluation based on criteria related to social impact, sustainability, innovation, and inclusivity in addressing societal issues.
