Baghdad: The Ministry of Education is advancing its focus on green and digital skills within the vocational education sector. The initiative is part of a broader development agenda led by the General Directorate of Vocational Education, represented by Director General Salam Al-Jazaeri. This agenda was highlighted during a workshop organized by UNESCO, with financial backing from the European Union in Baghdad. The event aimed to launch sectoral policies and create implementation plans to integrate these skills into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education has issued a statement detailing its commitment to updating curricula and training programs. This effort involves the introduction of modern skills into various vocational specializations, preparing graduates to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. The workshop was also an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences and learn from contemporary international practices.
