Baghdad: The Ministry of Education has specified the acceptance rate for the children of martyrs and orphans in schools for gifted students. The Ministry announced today that the acceptance rate for students from the families of martyrs and Al-Farah Orphanage schools in gifted schools for the 2026-2027 academic year is 90%.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the application criteria for distinguished schools, Baghdad College high schools, and gifted schools will include this preferential acceptance rate. This decision aims to provide more educational opportunities to these students.
