Baghdad: The Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with the Prime Minister's Office/National Center for Digital Transformation, has introduced a new online service to facilitate electronic payment card applications and salary deposits at Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank. This service is available through the "Ur" government services portal.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Finance issued a press release stating that this initiative is designed to streamline application procedures, enhance transaction speed, and reduce the effort and time required for processing. The service also aims to improve transparency and efficiency in service delivery to citizens.

This development aligns with the Prime Minister's directives to implement digital transformation initiatives. The initiative is backed by the Minister of Finance and overseen by the Director General of the Information Technology Department, in partnership with the Director General of Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank.
