Ministry of Health Confirms Arrival of Rare Disease Medications and Radioactive Iodine

Baghdad: The Ministry of Health has confirmed the arrival of medications specifically designed for the treatment of rare diseases. These medications have been delivered to the warehouses of the General Company for Marketing Drugs and Medical Supplies. The shipment includes crucial treatments for conditions such as cystine and other rare autoimmune diseases.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry has also received a new shipment of radioactive iodine. This shipment is intended for use in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid diseases. Preparations are underway to deliver the radioactive iodine to the National Hope Hospital for Cancer Treatment located in Baghdad. This initiative is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to provide specialized treatments and improve healthcare services for patients across the region.
