Kirkuk: The Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Hussein Al-Awadi, honored a traffic officer from the Hawija district for his commendable service.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Security Officer Abdul Majeed Ali Yousef, who is part of the Kirkuk Governorate Traffic Directorate/Hawija Traffic Division, demonstrated exceptional bravery. While overseeing traffic during the Arba’een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein in Al-Husayniya district of the holy Karbala Governorate, Yousef rescued a child from drowning in a river near the pedestrian walkway. This act highlighted the dedication and courage expected of traffic police officers.
